Not Urchiney Enough

Finally finished Urchin. This is my second attempt, and it is still not quite right. But I like it.

Used the Knit Global Shetland Flame and a size 11 needle. Size small.

Finally got some major work done on the Earth Stripe Wrap. My husband is playing hockey again so that gives me major knitting time each week! Woohoo! Finished one whole repeat of the pattern and then some!

Got some more things in the mail...

Mmmm love me some Manos. I really want to start on the Fringe scarf from Knitting New Scarves. But I need to get started on the new pair of leg warmers for my sis. She starts school tomorrow in Austria and I want to get them to her!

More Yarn!

Heh, heh. Love getting gift certificates for Christmas. The best excuse to visit the yarn store, plus it is not my money! Woohoo!

Bought some Cascade 220 to make my sister another pair of leg warmers. She attends University of Oregon and their colors are green and yellow. Thought she could represent the Ducks over in Austria!

Also bought one of the colors (Black) for this Fringe scarf from Knitting New Scarves. Going to make the blue version. Now I need to find the other 3 colors!

Beautiful orangey Silky Wool for Drifting Pleats, also from Knitting New Scarves. This orange perfectly matches the color in one of my plaid coats.

I really want to case on for one of these, but am trying to make tracks on Earth Stripe Wrap. I want nothing more than to wear that this winter, so I gotta get moving!
