Hello Again

First and foremost, my dad is finally on the road of recovery. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and well wishes. They meant a lot to me.

Finished Revontuli. Love it.

My dad has been through another surgery (unrelated to the first, but very necessary). Started a second project during that one. My second Clapotis. I made this one full size. Another ten day project for me. Using the Sea Cell, perfect yarn for this project.

Had a birthday during all this time. Received some nice additions to the knitting collection. Which in turn added many new items onto my "to do" list!

I also received a super sweet new lens for my camera, which I have only been able to play with a little. It is a super wide angle, and I am very excited to take it on our upcoming trip to Kauai. My husband and I are headed to paradise for our 5th anniversary. Can't wait!

Here is my sister and Gracie with the new lens. And another one in a local park.

And here is a last one of Gracie with her yummy plastic steak!

Gearing up for the Olympic Trials. Now that I have finished Clapotis, I am going to give my arms a break until Opening Ceremonies. Want to ensure I can complete my project without my arms causing me too much trouble! Can't wait!

Beautiful shawl AND Clapotis. They say the third time is the charm. ;-)

you knit a clapotis in 10 days? oh my goodness. I love both of your projects (and am glad you liked my yarn), really glad your dad is doing ok, and hope you will give poor little gracie a real t-bone, lol.
