Good weekend

Another beautiful weekend. Husband, Gracie and I went hiking up the Columbia River Gorge again. This time we went on a trail called Angel's Rest. It is about 4.5 miles roundtrip and the elevation at the peak is 1633. Pretty much incline the entire way. But wow, what a view at the top!

Finished Fringe. Loving this scarf and its unusual-ness. I think it will look really sharp with my wool coat. Am considering making a beret out of the leftover white.

Remember this project? You probably don't, because I barely do! :) It is Stripes and Webs. Looked at my log and I started this darn thing back in August of 2005. Finished the pieces and got stalled at...you guessed it....seaming. I have pulled it out of the far reaches of the knitting closet and will finish it for this summer.

I have determined that I must set some knitting goals for myself this year. They involve:

1. Finishing a couple of the current (slightly dusty) WIP's.

2. Using up some of my stash. There are numerous bags that have projects assigned to them, so I just need to get started!

I have several projects I really need to pull out of the depths of my knitting bags! Hopefully this summer I'll have some time to work on them!

I think of knitting as a hobby and, therefore, no goals are needed. Just do what you feel like doing and enjoy the process!
