Knitting Weekend

This past weekend, I went to the beach with my knitting group. A weekend full of movies, laying around, shopping and knitting! We really had a lot of fun and I got a lot of work done.

Finished knitting the front/back of my Meadow Vest from The Tapestry Collection. All that is left is the seaming and tie. I really hope this is going to fit. The yarn is beautiful and fun to work with. The stripes do not come out in the same proportion, so it is fun to watch it progress.

I started the Earth Stripe Wrap from Rowan 42. Love, love, love this! Each row is knit with two different colors and it is interesting how the colors meld together. I don't enjoy all the splicing (some rows are only 1 row!), but the KSH is so soft and fuzzy. I am using the same colors as in the pattern.

Do you think Gracie enjoys her new cushion?

Other than that, I have been so addicted to Ravelry! It is started to take away from my knitting. That and I now have so many more projects to make after surfing all the goodness that is there.

KSH Heaven

Woohoo! Finally got my invitation to Ravelry! Have been spending a lot of time photographing my stash, uploading finished projects, etc. Lots of fun!

My aunt brought the latest Rowan Mag 42 to knitting two weeks ago. Saw the cover pattern (Earth Stripe Wrap) and had ordered the yarn by the close of 24 hours later. I absolutely cannot wait to start this beautiful project.

Well this was a quickie! I really, really need to get working on the house. All that cleaning and laundry is stacking up on me!
