Updates

I've been making tracks on the Earth Stripe Stole. I almost have one full repeat of the pattern done (1 repeat = 186 rows). This is definitely one of my favorite projects in a long while. I love how the colors mix together and the KSH is divine.

Just go this in the mail. It is knitglobal Shetland Flame in pink sherbet. Bought it to make this super cute hat!

My mom was getting rid of some old magazines that she didn't like. I thought I would take a look through them to see if there was anything worthwhile. Found this cute Cap Sleeve Vest in an old issue of Knit Simple. I am using some Plymouth Suri Merino from my stash and slightly altering the pattern. Converting it to the round to reduce seaming, and I'm going to reduce the ribbing by 4". So far it is a quick, easy pattern that can easily be worked on during my daily bus rides. Very nice!

The stripes are really very pretty. You're making great progress and loving the yarn really helps.

That IS a cute vest. It's amazing what you can find in old magazines.

Oh, your stole is going to be so beautiful! I love how the colors go along together, and the yarn does look so soft and cozy - every bit as divine as you described it!
